Hi zoners:
I am promoting my own site on here. This site is on it's last leg and is probably
dying quickly. We don't actually know when the end is coming but we know it is
coming.
I have created and hope this can be a replacement. I want to help us all stay
together and find a site to use and frequent. there will be no games though
unless someone can code it for me somehow to fit under that type of board
system. anyhow. it's a bulletin board with a shout box so kind of like public
quick notes.

And you have the ability to actually build it, right?
not from scratch but mostly yes, I am using their admin panel to play with
boards and categories.

their won't be anagrams or anything, sure, but we can still have games in game parlor
message boards like that do it all the time
I would also suggest making it so that accounts are activated by you when people join.
yesterday, their were 8 guests online and some of those could be spammers trying to sign up, we don't know.

First time I heare or should I say read the zone won't last long. It looks pretty fine to me. I mean there hasn't been any news that the website might have to be closed down. I could be wrong. Could've missed something.
Louisa, it's seems to be only slightly founded speculation based on a few contributing factors and lots of concern spread by a few choice individuals.
yes, I have one listed down in my list I need to create, hmm I see, I don't know
whether they were spamers or not. but I agree about the games. If we get a
coder we may be able to invent something like that again.
Fine it's your choice to believe it or not but when it dies and you lose touch with
people.... Not my problem, I've tried to help and contribute to keep this
community together.
I say that something must be done, and quickly, this site isn't known for
reliability exactly is it, now?
Rachel, I maybe can help you with coding things, but first have to know what
type of coding is required.
Actually this site has been extremely reliable. Its been here for years.
Others have tried and failed. Hopefully, you'll succeed.

the zone is going to close. It's fact. Also, notice that, though so many are complaining and mourning the loss of the zone, very few are interested in actually putting their own system together or even getting involved jointly with someone like Rachel. At least she's doing something!

Talking irc is still around?
I'm asuming it's the same guys that use to run the old freedomchat network back in
the mid 2000s, and before that, accessible chat.
I haven't used irc in quite some time, mainly because I have yet to find a decent client
that will work with NVDA.
but the web interface is great. No need for an irc client.
I'm looking for something that will have the anagrams I mean the long ines not the 100 words or less. I'm sorry if this site will go down cause it's the only one wih anagrams left.
I'm sorry to hear that this site is going down. I've ben coming here a long time. It's the only site with any anagrams. I especially like the 1000 or more possible words.
The fact that only a few have responded is nnot an indicator that more are not interested. Not everyone reads the forums regularly. If the news could make an announcement it would help. I agree with the last poster, I would miss the anagrams a lot. For me, it is the speed anagrams I love. I have made some very close friends here, and so having a public and private chat function would be appreciated.

Another vote for anagrams here. My preference is for the speed anagrams, but I like both.
I don't think they're spammers, after all you have to complete a captcha in order to register.
I spoke about that vary thing.
A site that doesn't sell tickets, or have to control how many unit sell doesn't need one.

Rachel if you can help, this may solve the Anagrams issues, but, I can't guarantee a thing. Just pqn me, and tell me if you have talked to anyone about this site. Even Anthony, pqn me, if you are on here.

I think we have all heard the rumors of the cite going down. Whether it eventually
does or doesn't I think and alternative cite would be good. I would like to see games
but even a message board concept would be good to keep the connections and sharing
going. Thanks for giving this a try. I will certainly sign up.
You need to talk to someone who knows someone who can do something for someone?
sorry sarah, but since noone is able to get to the admins, whatever you want to do will fail.
